full backup

Hi all,

I have a redhat server, it is currently in production (configured with raid 5) I want to keep this server powered and use one of the hard disk to create a full backup on another server, is that possible?
if possible, what are the procedures to configure it ?

Regards,

No, it isn't. RAID arrays (especially HARDWARE arrays), aren't made to be broken up like that. If you want to create a 'full backup', why not use any of the available utilities to create an ISO image of your working system? mondoarchive, systemimager, and mkcdrec are just a few.

And since you're using RHEL, have you called Red Hat for support??? You are PAYING FOR RHEL, right??
