free bsd iso images burned incorrectly.
i have a slackware box i want to change over to freebsd.
my box when booting does not recognize the cd iso image. the iso images didn't burn correctly. i burned these files onto a cd using the default burner software that comes out of the box redhat 9. i draged the images into the burn window that pops up after intering a blank disk. i'm assuming this is not the correct procedure. can someone tell me what i did wrong? |
You need to make sure the ISO's get burned as an "image" and not a file. Are you using cdrecord?
This is an FAQ on cdrecord: http://kbase.redhat.com/freefaq/TCAT_31_22.shtm you just need a redhat.com login to access it. |
This is probably a better link...
