Flooded Logs (LDAP Error)?

I am getting my logs from my Bugzilla server emailed to me and they are flooded with LDAP connections errors and I have no idea why.

Here is an example of what I see...

Code:

Dec 26 23:10:01 fcsptr crond[29840]: nss_ldap: could not search LDAP server - Operations error
Dec 26 23:15:01 fcsptr crond[29842]: nss_ldap: could not search LDAP server - Operations error
Dec 26 23:20:01 fcsptr crond[29844]: nss_ldap: could not search LDAP server - Operations error
Dec 26 23:25:01 fcsptr crond[29848]: nss_ldap: could not search LDAP server - Operations error
Dec 26 23:30:02 fcsptr crond[29850]: nss_ldap: could not search LDAP server - Operations error
Dec 26 23:35:01 fcsptr crond[29852]: nss_ldap: could not search LDAP server - Operations error
Dec 26 23:40:01 fcsptr crond[29854]: nss_ldap: could not search LDAP server - Operations error
Dec 26 23:45:01 fcsptr crond[29856]: nss_ldap: could not search LDAP server - Operations error
Dec 26 23:50:01 fcsptr crond[29859]: nss_ldap: could not search LDAP server - Operations error
Dec 26 23:55:01 fcsptr crond[29861]: nss_ldap: could not search LDAP server - Operations error

The system is a RHEL 4.6 server running Apache, Bugzilla, & MySQL.

i would guess that your /etc/nsswitch.conf is configured to use ldap for user information and that sn't working. I get the impression there is meant to be no ldap, so ensure that that file doesn't define ldap as a resource.
