Fedora memory requirements

I have a bunch of 866mhz PIII boxes I want to install Fedora Core 3 on, but they only have 128MB of memory. What have other people found out for performance of Fedora Core 3 in graphical mode with this kind of configuration? If there are performance problems, are they mostly in the responsiveness of the GUI or do other apps slow down as well?

With just 128 MiB of RAM you will run out of physical memory easily unless you install a light-weight X window manager. And as soon as swap space is accessed regularly, overall performance will be poor.

Btw, note that there's a separate Fedora forum here.
