Evolution will not send ( post #1)

Ximian Evolution 1.2.2 [1.2.2-4] with Red hat 9.0. Receives fine but will not send e-mail. When I try I get the following error message:
"Domain of sender address rollo@localhost.localdomain does not exist."

I have reviewed all the addresses in the configuration files with my ISP. He, who has some experience with Linux, believes that his addresses (SMTP & POP) are configured correctly for Evolution, but that for some reason my system is looking in the wrong place for his address thus getting the localhost.localdomain address.

i think it realizes that rollo@localhost.localdomain is not a valid email address, so it cannot send the email cause it doesn't know where the email is originating from....you'll have to go into the configuration and type in your actual email address for it will know the sender..when you first open evolution, a setup screen comes up to configure it before use, and on the second screen a default email address is put in the box that has the format currentuser@HOSTNAME ... so in order to change this, you have to make sure when your in evolution that your inside the inbox, otherwise the option wont' be in the tools menu, so once inside the inbox, you will go to tools-> mail settings and it should be the first thing to pop up, and you will edit the account and put a valid email address in for the sender (or you, in other words)
