Differences between RHEL 7 and Fedora 19?

As I understand it, RHEL 7 is based on Fedora 19.

Can anybody tell me a few significant differences between the two?

Have you read both sets of release notes ?

although redhat and fedora share some common development people
the two are very different projects with VERY different goals and target user

John is correct. The guts of Fedora are included in RHEL, but they are different.

The biggest difference in my mind is that RHEL is stable and many binaries are version-locked until full minor version releases. RHEL uses Z-stream releases to the kernel in between minor versions, but you are not likely to see binary versions change unless there is a high-risk CVE.
