difference between srpm and rpm download in rh9
 
Hello All:

I'm downloading rh9 and noticed a difference in size between files of the same name in srpms and rpms. What's the difference between the two?


The locations are as follows:


dulug.duke.edu/pub/redhat/linux/9/en/os/i386/RedHat/RPMS
dulug.duke.edu/pub/redhat/linux/9/en/os/i386/SRPMS

A srpm contains the source code. A rpm contains the binary executable code.
