Question Dial Up Networking

Hi,
Is there an easier way to use a dial up connection in RH9 besides going to the network device control app and "enabling" the PPP device?

I'm used to the KDE dialer that works like M$.

Thanks

Are you not wanting to use KPPP? All I had to do was put in the phone number, username, and password and it worked first time.

Well, I'm using the Gnome desktop right now. I must admit I think the KDE desktop is a much more professional looking product.

In Gnome, you can create a short cut to KPPP on the desktop panel. Right-click on panel->Add to panel->Launcher from menu etc....
It works the same way as in KDE.

This is a Red Hat forum so I am assuming your using Red Hat. If it is version 9.1, then if you click on the
Red Hat -> Internet -> More Internet Applications
Kppp should be listed there

If your using an older version or want it on the desktop you can do as Arenba said. Personally, I like to keep my desktop clean and put launchers in my own panel menus
