desktop switcher

hello,

I just installed RH 8 , and of course was playing around with the panel. and so while doing this... i accidently pressed something and all of its gone! (btw im using KDE) now i have got back the buttons etc that i need but what is missing is the workspace switcher ( the one you click on that has a preview of apps in the different workspace ) !

How do I get it back ??? Have tried by right-click > add etc etc but cannot find it...

Thanks

Hi,

Quote:

You should ...
On RH9, it is right click on the menu bar)
Add to Panel / Utility / Workspace Switcher

I don't remember about RH8 ... or maybe time to switch to RH9 ...as RH10 is coming soon, the support should stop.

I looked for something similar, but no couldn't find any

btw do you know how to make the application tray to NOT display similar apps in the same group eg. if 2 Mozilla windows are open and they show in the same area in the application tray, then you have to click that area and then choose which window of two you choose.... (i find this very annoying compared to the normal individual layout for each window)

Thanks.

Unfortunately no, because I have RH9 for a while, and I don't remember a lot about RH8.
Sorry ;-)
