open a terminal, type in "su", type in your root password (it's normal that the characters do not appear), and then type in "xorgconfig". This will require a bit of information about your setup. You already know that you need the "sis" driver - but you will also need the refresh rates for your monitor and some in depth things about your mouse and the like. Hopefully, everything will work then.

I don't want to be mean, but your incorrect grammar makes it somewhat difficult to read your post. Many people would be more inclined to respond if you make the attempt to 'speak' correctly. Just attempting to help a little bit; please don't take it badly.

First of all - MUCH better - Thank you.

but what do you mean it didn't work? Are you on an LCD screen (isn't this installation on a laptop?)? Is the desktop resolution just too low? Or is the desktop small, but surrounded by black?

Just launch 'Display' under Settings. That will bring up 'system-config-display', which will allow you to set your screen resolution.
