Question Dell Latitude D800, eth0 problem


I am trying to install RH9 on Dell Latitude D800. Instaltions goes smoothly but when I try to activate the ethernet connection I get the following error meassage:

Cannot activate network device eth0
tg3 device eth0 does not seem to be present , delaying initialization.

Please help

Howzit

check your /etc/modules.conf to see if your NIC is seen. Other places to check is with dmesg and lspci cmds. Another quetion is your NIC a pcmcia or onboard?
