default 9.0 kernel question


hey, just wondering the default kernel that ships with 9.0..

2.4.20 i think, did it include any patches or did redhat customize it in anyway?

Redhat and most other general distributions heavily patch the kernels that ship with the product. The default kernel which ships with redhat 9 is 2.4.20-8
