Question cman_tool issues after upgrade from redhat 5.6 to 5.8

Hi everybody,
I have a cluster (2 nodes) running on redhat 5.6 and i upgraded the 2 nodes to redhat 5.8. (the primary node is freezed and drbd are disconnected). When i reboot the nodes, the cluster become in a non-freezed state (the "[Z]" disappear when i type "clustat").
So i would like to a have the same state of the cluster just before rebooting ;
When i type "clusvcadm -Z MyServerServiceGroup" , the command fail because of cman_tool is busy.
For the moment, i find a solution to kill cman_tool and reboot the machine again. I would like to know if there is better solution, or may be i shoul do some type some commands beore rebooting the machine to prevent cman_tool issue or to keep my cluster freezed.
Thank you
