Unhappy clustering on rhel


Hi eveyone,

Does the RHEL 5 has it's own cluster pakage by default.If so can anyone tell me how to enable that.....???

RHEL 5 has its own cluster suite based on Conga (http://www.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red...iew/index.html) but its a separate subscription.

Yes RHEL 5 has its own cluster you can go with the above link. Its good and hope it
will help you.

hi,

thank u for replay,

Do we need to enable any options while installing rhel5.2.
i have enable eveything while installing....how can i get in to that application.........

You install it after the OS by subscribing to the

RHEL Clustering

and

RHEL Cluster-Storage

channels. Then

yum install ricci
yum install luci

However, to get this channel you need to pay Red Hat money!! If you don't want Red Hat to manage this stuff for you I would image you should be able to get the ricci and luci packages from another source and install them with out issue
