centos install and configuration

i am installing and configuring centos and I am fallow the walkthrough at http://www.aussievoip.com/wiki/freePBX-Centos when I get to the part about installing freepbx it comes to a part where it says "Enter the IP ADDRESS or hostname used to access the AMP web-admin:[xx.xx.xx.xx] " what do i do if i do not have a static IP and do not know the IP?

Bring up a console and type "ifconfig -a". Locate the line with the current ethernet device and you'd see it's IP address. BTW, if the box needs a static IP address to work but you aren't given one, maybe you could get away with just a hostname a t one of those free DNS providers. BTW[2], your OS may be CentOS but this is not CentOS-specific, thread should be in Linux General (or Linux Servers maybe).
