Can't start https service in Centos 5.

I can't start my https service in my Centos 5, even after I reinstall apache.

It always shows a popup "Unable to retrieve https://127.0.0.1/:Connection refused".

However, it's ok on "http://127.0.0.1".

Please help!

Thanks,

Try turning off iptables & selinux. Do you see any other error messages in /var/log/messages or /var/log/http?

Hi, billymayday. Thanks for your reply.

After install mod_ssl, the https works well. So my problem should be caused by lack of mod_ssl.

For lack of hard drive space, I choose defaults installation with few modules. I think it should be the reason.

Thank you once again.
