Can't open location in RH 9. workstation when we using SMB
 

Hi,

Any one assist to solve this issue.


We try to connect the workstation (RH 9) into server (RH 7.1) using smb://servername/folder option in the explore window. We can login and read the files but we could not open and don't have write access. we received the following error message.


CAN'T OPEN LOCATION

Can't access files at SMB locations...... no other applications are available to view this file. if you copy this file onto your computer, you may be to open it.

Expecting the guidence using smb://..... to read/write access from the server.
