Bonding Secondary bond???
 

've already configured bonding but I found one server where worked that was previously configured by someone else

and I found this
it is using bond0 and bond0:0 when you run a ifconfig
you see this

and when you run ip appr show it says bond0 global bond
bond0:0 secondary global bond

other thing bond0 has its own IP and bond0:0 has its own IP and they are different.

what is that for?

how can I configure that(primary and secondary bonds) in another linux server?

no worries this was a very stupid questions but I never paid attention to it

the bond0:0 it is the NEW interface created by heartbeat based on the bond0
