bcm5700: eth0 NIC link is DOWN
 

Greetings,

Doeas anyone know how I might resolve this issue regarding bcm5700 series NIC cards integrated with IBM desktops?

I keep getting the same error message for both RH9 and AS4 even on FC4.

I have already downloaded the updated drivers from Broadcom and foolowed each and every step of the installation process. Tried installing it by rpm package even the tar package was unsuccessful.

I can't even bring up my other NIC cards installed. I have an Intel Pro 10/100 and a D-Link card as well.

Please I really hope some can help me on this.
