Auto-login and auto-restart...

Is it possible to create an auto-login in RH9 so that you don't have to login each time? If so, is it possible to have "root" auto-login?

Also, is it possible to schedule restarts? Let's say I need to restart the machine automatically every 12 hours, what do I do?

Thanks in advance for any help that is offered!!!

Edit: I'm using GNOME and can't seem to find the GDM file everyone has talked about.

Okay, I've figgured out how to auto-login...I'm such a stooge!

For anyone who is wondering, it's under "system settings" in the Redhat drawer, simply click on "Login Screen"...DUHHHH!

But now I still need to schedule periodical restarts...
