Authority manager in Redhat

I'm using Redhat 9 and I keep having these two little keys pop up in my system tray asking if I want to keep authorization to edit global files or forget it. I'm not running as root either which is a little weird that it would say i have that authorization.

Anyways ~ It's a pain in the butt because no matter what I click the window does go away, and closing it justleaves a blank space in my sys tray and it just looks bad. Does anybody know how to disable this feature so that it will just go away?

Thanks!
