Hello all,
I´m facing the following problem:
I have a RHES 4.5 installed on a Dell Poweredge server. After a reebot, when I try to login in the console it trows a message and I can´t login. Even with the root account.

But the strange for me is that if I try to login from another client, using ssh I can perfectly login wihtout problems. On the server log messages I´m seeing the following:

serverabc login[12345]: FAILED LOGIN1 FROM (null) FOR root, Authenticaation Failure
serverabc login(pam_unix) [12345]: session opened for user root by LOGIN(uid=0)
serverabc Login(12378): Module is unknown

And again and again.

Anybody have a clue where I can go to solve it?

Hello all,
Due to in this server I have installed oracle 10 product, an adjustment have made to file /etc/pam.d/login to use 64 bits module instead 32 bits.
