APT--Kernel upgrades?

As the "end of life" for RH 9 draws near, I've been getting the "Demo service disabled" message exclusively trying to up2date my packages. For most of these packages it's not a problem because APT does it faster anyway--except for the kernel upgrade.

Yes, I've been spoiled with up2date doing my kernel upgrades all this time, but now it appears this the one thing APT doesn't do--or have I missed something?

Depends on where you've downloaded AptRpm and how it is configured. All the current update tools (up2date, yum, apt-get) have means to update the kernel.
