Apt-get and Up2date

I am currently in the process of installing RH9 after a very long break from RH.

I just need to catch up on a little:

Where can I find documentation on apt-get for redhat? Can't google my way into any good docs...

Also, apparently up2date is now a pay-only service? Sounds like BS to me, is this true?

Up2Date is to the best knowledge still a free service. You can have a one system only demo entitlement which you keep live by filling out a survey every 60 (?) days.

Here is a FAQ for Apt4RPM.

Thanks!:D

Nitpick: It's an FAQ for apt-rpm or APT-RPM. ;) On the contrary, apt4rpm is a suite of tools for setting up and maintaining an apt repository. The website just happens to carry apt-rpm docs, too.

:D

Well pointed out. I have been erroneously switching between the 2 names.
