add remove MySQL, nautilus crash

I'm running ES 4.

When I installed I selected MySQL Database and all but two sub-components...everything I selected installed except mysql-server.

Ok, maybe I just didn't check the one box that was most important...not likely but possible.

Now, when I go to add or remove>MySQL>Details> select mysql-server>continue>update this is what happens:

message telling me I need disk 4 of Red Hat Enterprise....

Disk is inserted (a few minutes before or right away same thing happens), click "ok"

message stating "The Application "nautilus" has quit unexped... Restart App or Cancel"

If I click either "Restart Application" or "Cancel" the root directory opens in the GUI and I am returned to the screen with insert disk 4 and this loop continues forever and ever and ever.

I can't remove the MySQL Database from add or remove either because apparently libmysqlclient.so.14, libodbc.so.1 and libodbcpsql.so.2 are not present...

How do I get MySQL to install from the disk? Would it be better to just install 4.1.13 manually and forget the add or remove "feature"?

Thanks for any help!

mysql will not install with add or remove

ok, called Red Hat and the girl told me that add or remove doesn't work, or, in her exact words, "add remove has problems"...

anyway, she told me to use up2date mysql-server from the terminal. this worked great and solved the problem.
