add a lib to php in Red Hat 9


hi ,

i nead to add a librari for RH9 , i have install Apache , MySQL and PHP out of the box.

Mi problem i think, is that i nead the ./install with the new library of php , the problem is that i cant find it on my PC .

When i tried to install again PHP it generated the problem that it coude not find the GCC compiler?

Any ideas ?

Howzit

Under you distro CD you will find a rpm that says gcc-<version> install this the following way rpm -ivh gcc-<version>.

How did you install the packages (complied or rpm install)?

Unhappy out of the disk

i have install the rh9 out of the disk with the default options and selecting the Apache , MySQL and PHP
