circus LQ Newbie Registered: May 2003 Distribution: redhat 8.0 Posts: 2 Rep:	Adaptec AIC-7880p Problem I have an Adapted 3940UWDPI Dual Channel SCSI Card I bought it off of eBay and I think it’s the Macintosh version, it works and all, I’m using it right now. My problem is that Redhat runs the SCSI bus at 10mhz instead of 20mhz. I don’t get a BIOS message when I boot my box, but like I said, I think it’s the Mac version of this card. What I need to know is if there’s a way to manually force the driver to run the card SCSI bus at 20mhz? Where are the AIC-7XXX configuration files kept? I don’t need to boot off of SCSI or anything… Thanks! Circus.
