ACV denial after update - pls hlp, tnx
Hi,
I ran an update of my centOS (5.2) machine today. After reboot, I tried an upload, but I got Quote:
Short list of what I have here: - Centos 5.2 - a pass & login for a user, chroot to his folder - the group and owner are set to the user in the user's folder, there are write permissions - symlink to a folder in the /var/www/html folder - it worked before, I possibly lost a seLinux setting somewhere. Need more info? Ask away, lemme help you help me. :-) Bottom line, how do I get the client to upload as before. Tnx!! Thor |
Hi,
So, I turned off the seLinux for the FTP service, but that is NOT the most clever thing to do, of course. Now, I wet myself... Is there a better way to do this? |
Current, and only supported version by the community, CentOS version is 5.5. Please upgrade that see what happens.

Hi,
Tnx for that...so, I have to re-do a redundant machine and install the 5.5 on that, currently, the one I have (the 5.2) is a dev machine I cannot miss, setting up a 5.5 and transferring seems a better idea. The SELinux issue gives me the wobbles, though... Wellness! Thor |
