Acces Denied when upgrading to RHEL 4.8
I have a Mozilla based embedded browser that access a local webserver on a given port. Using RHEL4.6 there is no probelm, but after upgrading to RHEL4.8, I get the following message:
------------------------------------------------------ ERROR The requested URL could not be retrived The following error was encountered: * Access Denied. Access control configuration prevents your request from being allowd att this time. Please contact your service provider if you feel this is incorrect. Your cahce administrator is root. Generated xxxx...xxx(squid/2.6.STABLE21) ------------------------------------------------------ If changing the mozilla browser property "network.proxy.type" from 5 (use system proxy default) to 0 (directly) it works. But why is there a difference? It works when using default settings on RHEL4.6 but not on RHEL4.8? Whats the problem? |

RHEL4.X is still supported and will continue until 2012. RHEL4.8 was just released in 2009 and support for RHEL3.X will not drop until October 2009. RHEL5.4 was just released today. http://www.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red...Release_Notes/ swepic I am willing to bet this is some tiny little detail. Since you have a subscription contact RH. They should be able to help you with this very quickly. |
