A bugger

Hey guys.

This next thing has been bugging me for a while, but I never really paid attention to it, till now.

During the installation of CentOS I EXPLICITELY marked some packages as not installed, for example gpm (console mouse).

After the installation of the OS, gpm is installed anyway.
As I said, I never really paid attention to it, but I would like to know the reason.

Thanks!

Becaose it was a dependancy for some other package, and was installed as such. Try running "yum remove <unwanted package> and see what else would be removed. That is/are the packages responsible for installation of unwanted packages.
