USB Wireless Mouse- Logitech

Can anyone tell me how to get my Logitech wireless USB mouse working in Puppy 2.X. I had no problem with V 1.8.

I have tried 2.0 and 2.1. xvesa and xorg. Puppy wants to install PS2 by default but trying to force USB in the setup screens has no effect.
