Unhappy trying to use minicom in text mode of the Puppy linux but num keypad is not working


Dear sir,


I am trying to use the puppy linux for last one month i have successfully install the puppy Linux on my machine with 1gb hdd and 1gb RAM. Its great product puppy linux.

NOw i am using puppy linux in text mode by making changes in /etc/profile file

but when i try to use the Minicom in text mode its not working fine actually the problem is my num keypad keys gets deactivated and i want to use it

Please help me regarding this, i want to continue with puppy linux but i have to get rid of this issue

The key board i am using is IBM pattern key board of microsoft company
Minicom is terminal based software which gives us connectivity solution for serial communication.

I can't really help in your situation. You did not include which Puppy Version. What kind of install (full or frugal, type of device?). I take it keyboard works OK. It is the Number Pad that is disabled.
