Puppy arcade inside a C64

I have a an old, non-working C64. I wanted to make it a project to put a small PC inside to run C64 roms. I have found a 1GHz thin client and have puppy arcade 10 installed. I plan on getting a keyrah for an easy interface. My problem is I don't understand the c64, never had 1. The emulator packed with puppy arcade for c64 is frodo. Neither frodo nor puppy arcade have their own forums which I why I'm here. There is a front end called Rom Loader 1.7 but c64 isn't on there for some reason. I'd really like this to be dumb proof easy. I'd love to see a list of c64 roms in a directory, select 1 and have it load in the emulator. Does anyone know how I could do this? Thanks and sorry if this question belongs somewhere else.

Not owning a commodore 64 or run puppy arcade or even know what you are trying to accomplish.

may be able to tell you something. Good luck with it.

Edit: Maybe help or maybe not.

. Neither frodo nor puppy arcade have their own forums

Maybe post a reply in that thread on what you are trying to accomplish.
