PERsonal storage file

Dear members,

I am using Puppy only ans solely for surfing the internet, actually browsing only!
I have noticed, that the personal storage file is incrreasing consistently over the weeks, months.
But I do not understand why. The cache size in the browser is set to 1 Mb (one Mb), history is being stored for 14 days.
I think increasing the Personal storage file is not a real solution is there is no reason for an increase for it size.

How can i clean up the personal storage file as i am not willing to increase its size.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks 8-)

size of personal storage file

You can analyse the content of your pupsave file by opening
menu-filesystem-gdmap

You might get a clue as to what is causing the filling up (my guess: it's browser related stuff).

I know this is an old thread, but there are several threads on the main puppy forum discussing this. This is the only one I found quickly (I think there was a better one early this year):
