Arrow How to install totem

So I wanted to give pippy linux a try and I am totally new to this.

I am using Slacko 5.6 live usb and want to install totem on this

I tried to install totem from puppy package manager but I can not find the software in my menus after installing it however to add to all of this I do not even think that it is even a video player

So can any one help me install totem on puppy slacko 5.6

thank you in advanced.

If you are using a Live CD on a flash drive, it is generally a read only filesystem. Any changes you make or software you install will be gone on reboot unless you created it with persistence.

Thank you for your reply about totem I was talking about the version of totem that is in the puppy repo

I am aware that totem is a video player and want to install it on slacko if it is possible I tried the .deb file but it has a lot of missing dependencies and getting it manually is not a lot of fun
