What filesystem you have on sda4? Ext4? if so then

Code:
fsck.ext4 /dev/sda4

Thanks, this only took a second to check while Keith's took much longer. ?

Quote:
# fsck.ext3 /dev/sda4
e2fsck 1.42.8 (20-Jun-2013)
PUPPEX_TAHR: clean, 61856/3489792 files, 783852/13958144 blocks

# e2fsck -fpC0 /dev/sda4
PUPPEX_TAHR: /lost+found not found. CREATED.
PUPPEX_TAHR: 61857/3489792 files (0.9 non-contiguous), 783853/13958144 blocks
Sometimes there is no pick above for "problem solved."

The -fp makes it slower but better as you can see it found a problem and fixed it (no Lost+Found)
