Lightbulb ///Computer

Hi I'm new to this and it may be to advanced but I'd like to make something like the ///Computer that nautilus has to replace the Home icon in puppy.
This would give quick access to mounted drives the user files in root and the actual root /.
I have two possible options.
the simplest to copy the xml file from nautilus if we can find it however I don't even know if it is xml only a guess,
my other thought is mounting to a file named Computer all the drives and /.
the second option has one flaw that even if we can mount drives to a folder in puppy and force it to save I think that mounting / is an illegal operation.
I do think that something might work but I am as new as a new born Puppy.

We were discussing the need for a configurable home button in Rox, and I found a couple of posts on the ROX mailing list about how to make the home button point somewhere else, but they are hacks to the ROX source, so you have to recompile it.
We figured the easiest way was to make it point to ~/home, which would be by default a link to ~, and could be replaced with a link to wherever the user liked. But there didn't seem to be much point in doing it unless it makes it into the standard Puppy, so maybe we need to bring the idea to the attention of Barry.
I think that for some versions like Vistapup, PuppyXP and PuppyPro this could a great addition would be to have a icon that linked to some place that has (/) (/root) and some auto mounts or a link to (/mnt).
I also would like to point out that as I have played around with this that adding icons that link to such places seem to vanish after saving and rebooting.
I don't know if that will happen with links in a folder.

Rox does compile nicely. The trouble is that I tried, and as I guessed, we don't want to change

home_dir = g_get_home_dir();
as that also affects where ROX wants to put its icons. But I don't understand C, so I couldn't figure out how to implement the other change. I'm sure someone like HairyWill could do it.
I call the powers that be to send this HairyWill to us.

I think that you didn't get the point because all anyone need do from ~ known as the root account is click the up arrow to get to / making it easy to see /mnt, but I am talking about something different pleas reread.

The only two things are will the folder be created if I remaster the Cd or install to a hard drive, and can I create a link to that folder.
If anybody has an idea pleas respond.
