Can't open any pdf document
 

Over several weeks, I have downloaded various pdf documents, and every time I get the message "encrypted document, supply password". This is happening with every pdf I have downloaded. I have never had this happen before, so I don't know where to begin. What seems to be the problem with epdf thinking every document is encrypted when it isn't? Anyone know? I using Puppy 4.3

1. Can you open the pdf files with something else, like xpdf or other application?

2. What changes did you make to e-pdf between the time you last had no problem and the time you began having problems?

3. What changes did you make to your OS between the time you last had no problem and the time you began having problems?

4. What changes did you make to any other programs (including installing programs for the first time)between the time you last had no problem and the time you began having problems?
