Any way to set up automatic network connection refresh in Puppy Linux 4.1.2?

Hello, I am a newcomer to Puppy Linux, and so far, I am "digging" it.

However, my wireless card frequently overheats (I recently got a portable fan to put right near the wireless card which helps but I usually still need to unplug/replug after cooling it down) for some reason and ceases to connect until it cools down. When I replug in my wireless card, I have to go back into the wireless wizard and set it back up (I did save my wireless info but I still need to go into it and then get my IP which in total takes about a minute every time).

My card is a NETGEAR MA521 running on a IBM THINKPAD T23 with a Pentium III 1.2GHz processor if anyone needs that info.

I'd like to know if there is a way to have it automatically reconnect after so often, such as how Networkmanager and wicd work. Or if there was a way to install wicd to Puppy.

Thanks for any help in advance
