[SOLVED] tor browser with pup wrap up

just wrapping up on a thread that ended up locked,

in summary, the only tor browser combo pet i'm aware of is here, was new to me and for the most part just didn't work,

however, that turned out to be a prob on my end, tor gives a written display of what's going on that can be checked out, including connectivity issues,

bottom line is it works fine as a pet install (and has been updated since i last fiddled with it) but won't fire up in pup with a manual setup from the tor site, cos pup runs in root

thx for the other alternatives suggested, wasn't aware of them and always nice to have easy options or alternatives if something doesn't work out quick for whatever reason
