Editing needs strike-through markup
Strikethrough text should also be an option in posts

It is sometimes useful to put strike-through text in a post. [s][/s] ought to work for markup. Bold, italic, and underline are already there.

yes yes yes. strike-through is an excellent tool for getting your point across. As well as being used as a correction tool, it can really help emphasise [s]what you're not trying to say[/s] while including what you are trying to say.

Should also be useful in cases where language is a barrier.

No problem. [noparse];)[/noparse] is another good one, not sure if emojies will work here but noparse whould keep it text like the strike tags I used it on above. ;)
