Window title font

Hi-

I am trying to set the title for a gtk window dialog. I'd like to know if it is going to fit in the title bar before I set it. Is there a way to determine the font and font size of the window title bar? Or specifically, is there a way to test that my string is going to fit before I set it?

There's really no way to feasably do it - as every user uses their own custom fonts/font effects on their window titles.

But, this whole thing really begs the question: Just how long is this window title expected to be?
