Why does this site not work on non-IE's? [JavaScript, aspx]
I'm no web-developer, but looking at the source I can't see why this site doesn't work on Linux without downloading IE?
(
www.starv.fo ) In lower right corner clcik 'Sí leys størv' and try clicking one of the links, there's supposed to be a pop-up window.
Why doesn't it work on FF?

Error : ShowATCV is not defined
Source :
http://www.starv.fo/AV/Public/ATList.aspx
Line : 1
That's what firefox error console says..
Looking at the code, it's quite clear that ShowATCV is not defined yet.
PHP Code:
< script > setTimeout ( 'ShowATCV();' , 100 ) </script> <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML> <HEAD> <title> starv.fo, Leys størv </title> <meta content="Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 7.1" name="GENERATOR"> <meta content="Visual Basic .NET 7.1" name="CODE_LANGUAGE"> <meta content="JavaScript" name="vs_defaultClientScript"> <meta content="http://schemas.microsoft.com/intellisense/ie5" name="vs_targetSchema"> <LINK href="/AV/Styles.css" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet"> <script language="javascript" src="/AV/resources/functions_APPL.js"></script> </HEAD>

Works for me---ie all the links seem to do something logical.
I see no pop-ups, but I also get no warnings that FF has blocked a pop-up
FF 2.0.0.3

is there a way to 'patch' it locally on the client side.
Like a FF extension or something...?

Yes, saving the html file on your disk, correcting it and running it locally maybe.
As there is javascript inside, it will be painfull and quite uninteresting to correct it. Don't count on me

ohm I won't. I'm just trying to gather enough information to give to the original (read: ignorant) developer.
