Which Scheme implementation?

Hi. I want to learn Scheme. I've been learning Common Lisp, but there are some things I've read about Scheme that I find more appealing. However, there seem to be quite a few implementations to choose from. Any recommendations?

I don't have much criteria to give, though I like convenience features (like function autocomplete), portability, and support for lots of packages. (With Common Lisp, I was able to use CLISP + quicklisp, which was quite handy. Does Scheme have something like that?)

Guile has the advantage of being included with most Linux distributions.

Can someone explain the relationship between Gnu Guile and MIT/GNU Scheme?
