where is the first "t" of the path D:\tomcat5

I develop web application with Cygwin.
In my build.xml files there is:
. .....
<property name="catalina.home" value="D:/tomcat5"/>
......
......
<pathelement location="${catalina.home}/common/classes"/>
<fileset dir="${catalina.home}/common/endorsed">
<include name="*.jar"/>
</fileset>
<fileset dir="${catalina.home}/common/lib">
<include name="*.jar"/>
</fileset>
.......

After I ant all,there is wrong :
D:\ omcat5\common\endorsed not found

where is the first "t" of " tomcat5"?
Thanks!

My guess is that the t is being escaped and turned into a tab. Try escaping the slash with another backslash.

first ,I think so!So I modified it,but it gave me the same wrong.
Then I directly delete the value: "D:\tomcat5", Ant all again,wonderfully
gave me the same wrong:"D:\ omcat5\common\endorsed not found."
Why doesn't the modification work???
