USB Device Representation in Linux

How do I determine what USB devices are on the system after Linux comes up?

How are USB devices represented in /sys/device - is there a naming convention for USB devices?

How are USB devices represented in /dev - is there a naming convention for USB devices?

How do I link the USB device represented in /sys/device with the /dev file for that device?

Thanks.

From a console command line:

dmesg | grep usb
lsusb
lsmod
lspci

will give you this kind of information.
