unresolved symbols

hi,

i am trying to load a module in red hat linux(9) kernel version-2.4.20-8which displays me the following errors

unresolved symbols

1) pci_resource_start
2) pci_resource_end
3) pci_resource_flags
4) pci_resource_len
5) feof, fscanf,fprintf,fclose and fopen

i have not recompiled my kernel .using the one that came along with installation cd.

these symbols are not present in the /proc/ksyms file..so can somebody please help me how to export the symbols for these functions into the kernel symbol table..can i use feof, fscanf funtions in modules??any help would be greatly appreciated because my project is stalled because of this problem.

thanx in advance
