unix open() question!!
hi,
if i open a file using open() what mode is it opened by default? viz binary mode or textual mode? thanks, harish |
Defininately binary.
BTW "textual mode" doesn't differ from binary inside a UNIX-environment. In fact "textual mode" doesn't exists at all in UNIX/Linux. It is used in DOS/Windows C stdio libraries only. |
thanks friend i got it!!
