tty

Tring to use the tty routines echo, noecho, cbreak and nocbreak.

Using the include file curses.h and the library libcurses.a to
link my routine, I get an error:

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0x06580b8e in echo ( at ../../ncurses/base/lib_echo.c:51
in ../../ncurses/base/lib_echo.c

Am I linking with correct library? Is there something missed?
Any help would be appreciated.

You have to use initscr() to setup the library before calling any of it's functions.
