tcp/ip packets

I can't seem to find any info on this - how can I build & send a packet / series of packets? If someone could point me to a hello, world textfile comprised of packets that would be ideal.

Try putting "socket bind example #include" into a google search and you get back a ton of example programs on using tcp/ip.

"UNIX Network Programming" is a must read. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/013490012X/

Also the "Unix Socket FAQ" is an in-valuable resource. http://www.developerweb.net/sock-faq/
